AN ACT UPGRADING THE QUIRINO MEMORIAL GENERAL HOSPITAL IN QUIRINO DISTRICT, QUEZON CITY, INTO A REGIONAL HOSPITAL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Quirino Memorial General Hospital in Quirino District, Quezon City, is upgraded into a regional hospital.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The amount necessary for the operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
