AN ACT CONVERTING THE DUMANGAS COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUMANGAS, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE TO BE KNOWN AS THE DUMANGAS POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Dumangas Comprehensive High School in the Municipality of Dumangas, Province of Iloilo, is converted into a polytechnic college to be known as the Dumangas Polytechnic College.

Section 2

SEC. 2. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Dumangas Comprehensive High School are transferred to/absorbed by the Dumangas Polytechnic College.

Section 3

SEC. 3. All existing appropriations for the Dumangas Comprehensive High School are hereby transferred to the Dumangas Polytechnic College, to be disbursed in accordance with the provisions of this Act. Thereafter, the necessary sum for the operation and maintenance of the college shall be provided for in subsequent General Appropriations Acts.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
