AN ACT CONVERTING THE MARIGONDON BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MARIGONDON, LAPU-LAPU CITY, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MARIGONDON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Marigondon Barangay High School in Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City, is converted into a national high school to be known as the Marigondon National High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports is directed to take such steps as are necessary for the conversion and operation of the school and immediate implementation of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
