SECTION 1. The General Santos National Trade School in the City of General Santos, is converted into a national school of arts and trades to be known as the General Santos National School of Arts and Trades.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE GENERAL SANTOS NATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS, INTO A NATIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES TO BE KNOWN AS THE GENERAL SANTOS NATIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.
SEC. 2. In addition to its present secondary and vocational curricular offerings, the school shall offer the following collegiate courses: Automotive Mechanics, Building Construction, Architectural Drafting, Technical Electricity, Furniture and Cabinet Making, Technical Food Trades, Technical Garment Trades, Electric Arc and Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Ceramics.
SEC. 3. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
