AN ACT RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN HOSPITALS IN REGION VI, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. The following hospitals in Region VI are reclassifled as follows:

Iloilo Provincial Hospital in the City of Iloilo to a medical center to be known as the Western Visayas Medical Center; and

Dona Corazon Montelibano Locsin Memorial Hospital in the City of Bacolod to a regional hospital to be known as the Dona Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The amount needed for the implementation of this Act shall be charged to the appropriations of the Ministry of Health provided in Batas Pambansa Blg. 640. Thereafter, the amount necessary for the same purpose shall be included in subsequent annual general appropriations acts.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Enacted without executive approval, April 27, 1984.
