Section 1

SECTION 1. Section four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven, is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on January first, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, except as herein otherwise specifically provided, and except further as to the sums appropriated for items two, four, five, ten, and fifteen, subsection E (fc), of the said Act, the immediate release of all which is hereby authorized upon the approval of this Act to promptly carry out the maintenance, repair, improvement and extension of river control works on the Pampanga River, in Pampanga; Agno, in Pang-asinan; O'Donnell, in Tarlac; Angat, in Bulacan; and Pampanga, in Nueva Ecna."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved, November 18, 1936.
