Section 1

SECTION 1. The phrase "Less—forced savings from salaries and wages" appearing under subheading "V—Summary" of the appropriation for the National Library as provided in Commonwealth Act Numbered Two hundred and forty-five is hereby amended to read "Less—forced savings."

Section 2

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect as of January first, nine-teen hundred and thirty-eight.
