Section 1
SECTION 1. Section two thousand six hundred and seventeen of the Revised Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 2617. Election of president, vice-president and councilors.—The president, vice-president and councilors of a municipality or municipal district shall be chosen by the qualified electors of the municipality or municipal district in accordance with the provisions, of the Election Law, but no election shall be held in any municipal district unless one is called for such district by a proclamation of the President of the Philippines."
