Section 1

SEC. 1. For the purpose of promoting international friendship and understanding, His Excellency, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, is authorized to accept the decoration known as the "Grand Cross of the Order of the Crown of Italy," conferred upon him by His Majesty, the King of Italy, and to wear the , insignia of the Order.

Section 2

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Enacted, without Executive approval, June 18, 1939.
