Section 1

Sec. 1. For the purpose of promoting international friendship and understanding, His Excellency, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, is authorized to accept the gift consisting of arms of Mexican manufacture tendered him by the Government of Mexico.

Section 2

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Enacted, without Executive approval, June 18, 1939.
