Section 1

SECTION 1. The President of the Philippines is authorized to grant retirement gratuity to the estate of Lorenzo Pelileo, former Provincial Treasurer of Davao, under the provisions of Act Numbered Two thousand five hundred eighty-nine, as an ended.

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved, August 19, 1940.
