Section 1

SECTION 1. Purpose VI of section ninety-seven of Commonwealth Act Numbered One, as amended by section thirty-nine, is further amended to read as follows:

"PURPOSE VI. - Miscellaneous expenditures

"This purpose shall include the miscellaneous expenditures of the various aims and services of the Military Establishment and of the Central General Staff as determined by the President, and the contingencies of the Army: Provided, That all moneys derived from the sale of products and other activities shall be expended as the Chief of Staff may direct, subject to the approval of the Secretary of National Defense."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
