AN ACT TO DESIGNATE THE PROVINCIAL SHERIFF IN PROVINCES WHERE THERE ARE CHARTERED CITIES AS SHERIFF EX-OFFICIO THEREOF, WITH ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION.

Section 1

SEC. 1. The provincial sheriff of the provinces to which chartered cities belong, shall be ex-officio the city sheriff, with an additional compensation not exceeding one thousand pesos per annum to be fixed by the respective city council, payable out of the city funds.

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
