Section 1

SECTION 1. September 1 of every year is declared a special working holiday and no class day in schools in the Province of North Cotabato in commemoration of its founding anniversary. When the holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, the special working day shall be observed on the Monday that follows.

Section 2

SEC. 2. For work performed on a special working holiday, an employee is entitled to his/her regualr wage.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. Approved, (Sgd.) FRANKLIN M.
