AN ACT UPGRADING THE DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN LIGAO CITY, PROVINCE OF ALBAY, FROM A CLASS "D" TO A CLASS "B" DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. The district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) located in Ligao City, Province of Albay, is hereby upgraded from a Class "D" to a Class "B" district office.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO Ligao City District Office in the Province of Albay, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the said office. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
