AN ACT TO CONVERT THE KATIPUNAN HIGH SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE TO A NATIONAL RURAL HIGH SCHOOL OF THE BATAC RURAL HIGH SCHOOL TYPE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE KATIPUNAN NATIONAL RURAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Katipunan High School, situated in the Municipality of Katipunan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, is hereby converted to a national rural high school of the Batac Rural High School type, to be known as the Katipunan National Rural High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the Katipunan National Rural High School during the school year nineteen hundred fifty-five to nineteen hundred fifty-six. Thereafter, the necessary sum for said purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
