AN ACT APPROPRIATING TEN THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE EXPENSES IN LOCATING IN LANAO AND TRANSPORTING THE MORTAL REMAINS OF THE LATE JUSTICE JOSE ABAD SANTOS TO AND THEN ITS ENSHRINEMENT IN PAMPANGA OR ANY OTHER PLACE WHERE HIS FAMILY DESIRES HIS REMAINS TO BE ENSHRINED.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The sum of ten thousand pesos or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the expenses in locating in Lanao and transporting the mortal remains of the late Justice Jose Abad Santos to and then its enshrinement in Pampanga or any other place where his family desires his remains to be enshrined.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The work of locating and manner of transporting the remains as well as the payment for the cost of the same and such other incidental expenses shall be at the discretion of the President of the Philippines upon consultation with the family of the late Justice Jose Abad Santos.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
