Section 1

SECTION 1. The southern portion of the barrio of Iyam in the Municipality of Lucena, Province of Quezon, which is bounded on the north by the provincial road; on the east by the Iyam River; on the west, by the barrios of Talim and Kanlurang Isabang; and on the south, by the sitio of Pajo, is hereby separated from the said barrio and is created into a new distinct and independent barrio to be known as the barrio of Ibabang Iyam in the same municipality.

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
