AN ACT CONVERTING THE MIAGAO HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MIAGAO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MIAGAO VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Miagao High School in the Municipality of Miagao, Province of Iloilo, is hereby converted into a national vocational school to be known as the Miagao Vocational School. The said school shall be under the supervision of the Bureau of Public Schools and subject to the provisions of the School Law. Courses of secondary level shall be offered in the said school.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the expenses of the said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred fifty-eight. The necessary funds for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
