SECTION 1. The Pototan Emergency Hospital in the Municipality of Pototan, Province of Iloilo, is converted into a general hospital to be known as the Pototan General Hospital.

Section 2
SEC. 2. The expenses for the operation and maintenance shall be governed by the provisions of Republic Act Numbered One thousand nine hundred thirty-nine, otherwise known as the Hospital Financing Act: Provided, That the present appropriation for its operation and maintenance shall continue to be borne by the National Government and shall be increased as conditions warrant.
Section 3
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted without executive approval, May 16, 1959.
