AN ACT INCREASING THE SALARY OF THE AUDITOR GENERAL FROM SIXTEEN THOUSAND PESOS TO TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND PESOS PER ANNUM, BY FURTHER AMENDING SECTION ONE OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section one of Commonwealth Act Numbered Five hundred thirty-two, as amended by Republic Act Numbered Nine hundred four, is further amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. The Auditor General shall receive an annual salary of twenty-one thousand pesos."

Section 2

SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act from date of approval to June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty, shall be taken from savings in the appropriations for the General Auditing Office for the current fiscal year and the fiscal year nineteen hundred fifty-nine to nineteen hundred sixty.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
