AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL OF FISHERIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DIPOLOG, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision and administration of the Director of the Bureau of Public Schools, a school of fisheries in the Municipality of Dipolog, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, hereafter known as the Dipolog School of Fisheries. The Director of Public Schools shall promulgate, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Education, such rules and regulations to carry out the purposes of this Act. Said Director shall also acquire the necessary site for the school.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-one. Thereafter, the necessary sum for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Acts.

Section 3

SEC 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
