AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THE SUM OF FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF A PUBLIC HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KAPATAGAN, PROVINCE OF LANAO.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There shall be in the Municipality of Kapatagan, Province of Lanao, a twenty-five-bed general hospital, to be known as the Kapatagan Public Hospital.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The sum of fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the maintenance and operation of said public hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-one: Provided, That no amount herein appropriated will be released unless the Secretary of Health certifies that a suitable hospital building is available. Such sums as may be necessary for its maintenance and operation in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
