AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VALLADOLID, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CENTRAL NEGROS EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There shall be, under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services, an emergency hospital in the Municipality of Valladolid, Province of Negros Occidental, to be known as the Central Negros Emergency Hospital. The site shall be determined by the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Valladolid in consultation with the Director of Medical Services.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the maintenance and operation of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-one: Provided, That no amount herein authorized to be appropriated will be released unless the Secretary of Health certifies that a suitable hospital building is available. Such sums as may be necessary for the same purpose in subsequent years shall be included the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
