Section 1
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the Bureau of Medical Services, a twenty-five-bed general hospital in the Municipality of Himamaylan, Province of Negros Occidental, to be known as the Occidental Negros South General Hospital.

Section 2
SEC. 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this Act.
Section 3
SEC. 3. The sum of seventy-five thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the maintenance and operation of said hospital: Provided, That no amount herein authorized to be appropriated will be released unless the Secretary of Health certifies that a suitable hospital building is available. In subsequent years, the operation and maintenance of said hospital shall be financed in accordance with Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and thirty-nine.
Section 4
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved, June 17, 1961.
