SECTION 1. The Southern Mindanao School of Fisheries located at Zamboanga City is hereby converted into a regional school of fisheries to be known as the Mindanao Regional School of Fisheries which shall offer a two-year technical curriculum in fisheries in addition to the courses now offered.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE SOUTHERN MINDANAO SCHOOL OF FISHERIES AT ZAMBOANGA CITY, INTO A REGIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES TO BE KNOWN AS THE MINDANAO REGIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred eight thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-two. Thereafter, the necessary sum for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
