SECTION 1. Section four of Republic Act Numbered Eighteen hundred thirty-one, otherwise known as the "Enlisted Men's Pay and Allowance Act of 1957," is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 4. The monthly base pay of enlisted men of the Regular Force shall not be less than the following: "(a) E-7 P175.00 "(b) E-6 165.00 " (c) E-5 .155.00 " (d) E-4 145.00 " (e) E-3 140.00 " (f) E-2 135.00 " (g ) E-1 130.00"
SEC. 2. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of thirty-four million pesos to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-two. Approved, June 16, 1962.
