AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TEN MILLION PESOS AS AID TO PROVINCES IN THE MAINTENANCE OF PROVINCIAL HIGH SCHOOLS.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The sum of ten million pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as aid to provinces in the maintenance of provincial high schools in the capital and other high schools in the municipalities for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-three. Thereafter, the necessary funds needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum herein appropriated shall be allocated to the above-mentioned schools by the Secretary of Education in proportion to the enrollment therein.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
