AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT OF PENSIONS OF PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, any public school teacher who, under the provisions of Act Numbered Three thousand fifty, as amended, and Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred eighty-seven, is entitled to a monthly pension of not exceeding- twenty pesos shall hereafter receive a monthly pension of sixty pesos; if he is entitled to a monthly pension of more than twenty pesos, such monthly pension shall be increased by forty pesos.

Section 2

SEC. 2. There is hereby appropriated annually, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such amount as may be necessary to carry into effect the provisions of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
