AN ACT CONVERTING ALTAVAS HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALTAVAS, PROVINCE OF AKLAN, INTO A NATIONAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS ALTAVAS NATIONAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIA­TION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Altavas High School in the Municipality of Altavas, Province of Aklan, is hereby converted into a national school to be known as Altavas National School. General as well as vocational courses shall be offered in said school.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-five. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
