AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO, ENTITLED "AN ACT CONVERTING THE PROVINCIAL TRADE SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF CAGAYAN DE ORO TO A REGIONAL NATIONAL VOCATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL OF THE PHILIPPINE SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES TYPE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR."

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Seven hundred sixty-two is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. The provincial trade school of the City of Cagayan de Oro is converted to a regional national vocational trade school of the Philippine School of Arts and Trades type, which shall be known as Mindanao School of Arts and Trades. Said school shall include in its present curriculum teacher education courses leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education and the degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts, to be offered in evening classes."

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
