SECTION 1. In the performance of his duties as Chairman of the Board of Pardons and Parole, the Secretary of Justice shall be assisted by a staff which shall have one chief to be known as Executive Officer and Secretary of the Board, whose salary shall be twelve thousand pesos per annum; one assistant executive officer whose salary shall be twelve thousand pesos per annum; one assistant executive officer whose salary shall be nine thousand pesos per annum; two supervising parole officers each of whom hall receive eight thousand four hundred pesos per annum; two senior parole supervisors each whom shall receive seven thousand two hundred pesos per annum; two senior parole investigators each of whom shall receive seven thousand two hundred pesos per annum; twelve parole investigators each of whom shall receive six thousand pesos per annum; and twelve parole supervisors each of whom shall receive six thousand pesos per annum.
The Executive Officer and Secretary of the Board and the assistant executive officers shall be not less than thirty-five years of age and must be a member of the Philippine Bar for at least seven years.
The supervising parole officers, senior parole supervisors and senior parole investigators shall be members of the Bar for at least five years while the parole investigators and parole supervisors shall be members of the Bar for at least three years.
