Section 1

SECTION 1. Subject to the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Thirty-seven hundred thirty-eight, entitled "An Act to grant the Melvic and Company, Incorporated, a franchise for an electric light, heat and power system in the City of Toledo and the Municipalities of Aloguinsan and Pinamungajan, Province of Cebu," the transfer of the franchise granted to Melvic and Company, Incorporated by the said Act, in favor of Jose S. Mercado of Cebu City, is hereby authorized and approved.

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
