AN ACT CONSTITUTING THE THIRD AND FOURTH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS OF THE PROVINCE OF CEBU INTO A SEPARATE ENGINEERING DISTRICT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the Third and Fourth Congressional Districts of the Province of Cebu are hereby constituted into a separate engineering district, to be known as the Fifth Engineering District of the Province of Cebu, with principal offices at the Municipality of Argao, same province.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Public Works and Communications is hereby authorized to appropriate the necessary sums, out of any unallotted funds and/or savings under the department, to carry into effect the provisions of this Act and to transfer the necessary personnel, records, property, equipment, and other supplies and materials, to carry out the provisions of this Act. Thereafter, the necessary sums for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
