AN ACT CREATING THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN VICENTE IN THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There is hereby created in the Province of Samar, a municipality to be known as the Municipality of San Vicente, which shall consist of the portion of the Municipality of Capul of the same province.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Municipality of San Vicente shall comprise the island barrios of Mongolbongol, Ternate, Sila, Sang-putan, Mahaba, Panganoron and Maragat and shall have its seat of government at the present island barrio of Mongolbongol.

The Municipality of Capul shall retain its present terri�tory except the portion thereof included in the Municipality of San Vicente.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors of the newly created Municipality of San Vicente shall be elected in the next regular elections for provincial and municipal officials.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
