AN ACT CONVERTING KORONADAL PROVINCIAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KORONADAL, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, INTO A NATIONAL 'HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS KORONADAL NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Koronadal Provincial High School in the Mu­nicipality of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as Koronadal National Comprehensive High School effective upon the availability of funds. Comprehensive curriculum, which includes both academic and industrial arts and handicraft courses, shall be offered. The Secretary of Edu­cation is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

Section 2

SEC. 2. Upon organization of Koronadal National Comprehensive High School, the personnel, equipment and records of Koronadal High School shall be transferred to said Koronadal National Comprehensive High School.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said school in addition to the matriculation and tuition fees and other revenues.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
