AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FIFTY HUNDRED AND FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT GRANTING ESPERANZA LAZARO A FRANCHISE TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE AN ICE PLANT IN BARRIO DAMPALIT, MUNICIPALITY OF MALABON, PROVINCE OF RIZAL."

Section 1

SECTION 1. The title of Republic Act Numbered Fifty hundred and five is hereby amended to read as follows:

"An Act granting Esperanza Lazaro a franchise to construct, maintain and operate an ice plant and cold storage in Barrio Dampalit, Municipality of Malabon, Province of Rizal."

Section 2

SEC. 2. Sections one and two of the same Act are also amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. Subject to the terms and conditions established in this Act and in Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred forty-six, as amended, and to the provisions of the Constitution, there is hereby granted to Esperanza Lazaro, for a period of twenty-five years from the approval of this Act, the right, privilege and authority to construct, maintain and operate an ice plant and cold storage in Barrio Dampalit, Municipality of Malabon, Province of Rizal, for the purpose of manufacturing ice for distribution and sale and supplying cold storage within the Province of Rizal, and to charge and collect a schedule of prices and rates therefor which schedule shall, at all times, be subject to regulation by the Public Service Commission or its legal successor.

"SEC. 2. The grantee shall manufacture and supply ice and cold storage up to the limit of the capacity of her plant or plants and cold storage service, said limit to be determined by the Public Service Commission, and sell the same at rates to be determined by the said Commission."

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
