SECTION 1. The name of the City of Olongapo, created by Republic Act Numbered Forty-six hundred forty-five, is hereby changed to President Magsaysay City.

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO TO PRESIDENT MAGSAYSAY CITY.
SEC. 2. Whenever the words 'City of Olongapo' appear in Republic Act Numbered Forty-six hundred forty-five and all other Acts and executive orders, said words shall be understood to mean President Magsaysay City.
SEC. 3. A plebiscite shall be held in the City of Olongapo on the day of the election of local officials in November, nineteen hundred and seventy-one to enable the voters of that city to elect whether or not they favor the change of the name of said city as herein provided. The Commission on Elections shall prescribe the form of the ballot for the plebiscite. The change herein provided shall take effect if a majority of the votes cast in the plebiscite favor the change of the name of the City of Olongapo to President Magsaysay City.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
