AN ACT CREATING BARRIO FORTUNA IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARCOS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The southern portion of Barrio Daquioag (formely Alabaan) in the Municipality of Marcos, Province of Ilocos Norte, is hereby separated from the said barrio and constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality, to be known as Barrio Fortuna.

Barrio Fortuna shall be bounded as follows:

"On the North by Don Andres Road; on the East by the sitio of Nagustuan Road; on the South by the Espiritu Town boundary; and on the West by the National Road."

Section 2

SEC. 2. The corporate existence of the new barrio shall commence when the first barrio officials shall have been elected in an election to be held immediately after the approval of this Act under the supervision of the Commission on Elections and shall have qualified.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
