Section 1
SECTION 1. The present Municipality of Mahaplag, Province of Leyte, is hereby declared as a duly constituted municipality to be known as the Municipality of Mahaplag as of July 21, 1958.

Section 2
SEC. 2. The seat of government of the said Municipality of Mahaplag shall be at Barrios Malinao and San Isidro.
Section 3
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted without the Executive approval, July 22, 1972.
