AN ACT DECLARING JUNE NINETEEN OF EVERY YEAR AS 'ARAW NG SURIGAO DEL SUR' AND SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE ENTIRE PROVINCE

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Province of Surigao del Sur was created by virtue of Republic Act No. 2786 which was finally approved on June 19, 1960.

Section 2

SEC. 2. June Nineteen of every year is hereby declared as "Araw ng Surigao del Sur" and consequently a special nonworking holiday in the entire province.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

Lapsed into law on January 10, 1994 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
