AN ACT ESTABLISHING ANATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUMAUINI, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, TO BE KNOWN AS TUMAUINI NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in the Municipality of Tumauini, Province of Isabela, to be known as Tumauini National High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The academic staff, teaching personnel, administrative and other support personnel of the existing extension high school of the Isabela National High School presently located in the Municipality of Tumauini shall, upon the effectivity of this Act, be absorbed by the Tumauini National High School, and its buildings, facilities, equipment, appurtenances and other resources turned over as property of the said Tumauini National High School.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Republic Act No. 7663 for the Department of Education, Culture and Sports intended for the operational expenses of newly legislated high schools. Thereafter, the amount needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
