AN ACT CONVERTING THE BURAUEN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN STO. NIÑO, MUNICIPALITY OF BURAUEN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, INTO A COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE BURAUEN COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Burauen National High School in Sto. Ni�o, Municipality of Burauen, Province of Leyte, is hereby converted into a national comprehensive high school to be known as the Burauen Comprehensive National High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Burauen National High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Burauen Comprehensive National High School.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Burauen National High School in Sto. Ni�o, Burauen, Leyte. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Lapsed into law on April 22, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
