AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DALAMA SHORELINE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MOLUNDO, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR, INTO A PUBLIC BEACH RESORT

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Dalama shoreline in the Municipality of Molundo, Province of Lanao del Sur, shall hereby be developed into a public beach resort.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Philippine Tourism Authority and other concerned agencies of the government, shall prepare the development plan and construct the appropriate facilities and infrastructure for the area, subject to set tourism standards: Provided, That the development plan shall ensure the preservation of the natural beauty thereof.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The Department of Tourism shall take immediate steps to implement said development plan and incorporate the same in the Department's overall tourism development program for the ensuing calendar year.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The Department of Tourism shall likewise promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Lapsed into law on April 23,1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
