SECTION 1. The National Kidney Institute is hereby renamed as the National Kidney and Transplant Institute and shall be designated as the lead center for organ transplantation.

Section 2
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Lapsed into law on May 25, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
