AN ACT CREATING A SEPARATE ENGINEERING DISTRICT IN THE FIRST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, there shall be created an engineering district of the Department of Public Works and Highways in the First Congressional District of the Province of Zamboanga del Norte, which comprise the City of Dapitan, and the municipalities of La Libertad, Mutia, Sergio Osmeña Sr., Piñan, Polanco, Rizal, and Sibutad.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The site of the engineering district shall be located in the Municipality of Piñan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways is hereby authorized to transfer the records, property, equipment, supplies, and materials pertaining to the jurisdiction of the engineering district of the First Congressional District of Zamboanga del Norte in accordance with the existing laws and regulations.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
