AN ACT CONVERTING THE NAVA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY NAVA, MUNICIPALITY OF HINUNANGAN, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE NAVA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Nava Barangay High School in Barangay Nava, Municipality of Hinunangan, Province of Southern Leyte, is hereby converted into a national high school, to be known as the Nava National High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Nava Barangay High School shall be transferred to and absorbed by the Nava National High School.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the conversion and operations of the school.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
