SECTION 1. The Luis Hora Memorial Hospital in Abatan, Municipality of Bauko, Mountain Province, is hereby designated as the regional hospital of the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Section 2
SEC. 2. Upon approval of this Act, all personnel, assets and liabilities of the Luis Hora Memorial Hospital shall be transferred to the Department of Health.
Section 3
SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 4
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Lapsed into law on June 20, 1997 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27 (1), Article VI of the Constitution.
