SECTION 1. The Bataan Provincial Hospital in the Province of Bataan is hereby upgraded into a tertiary level II hospital, increasing its bed capacity from three hundred (300) to three hundred fifty (350) at least; increasing its operating fund; upgrading its medical equipment and facilities; and constructing the needed infrastructure under the direct control, management and supervision of the Department of Health.
SEC. 3. The amount necessary for the initial implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations for the organizational adjustment fund. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its continued operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
