AN ACT CONVERTING THE MACARASCAS BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MACARASCAS, CITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE MACARASCAS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1

SECTION 1. The existing Macarascas Barangay High School situated in Barangay Macarascas, City of Puerto Princesa, Province of Palawan, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Macarascas National High School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. All personnel, records, assets and liabilities of the Macarascas Barangay High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Macarascas National High School.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
